Description of Ranks and Sides

[The dark side is lead by the *Dark Lord. Creautres loyal to darkness are loyal to the Dark Lord, and only to him.
The light side is lead by the *Light Queen. Creatures loyal to light are loyal to the Kingdom, and only it. They fight for their Kingdom, not their Queen. Though she is deserving of endless respect, it is the Kingdom for which they are willing to lay down their life.
Both the Dark Lord and the Light Queen have prized beasts. To the Dark Lord, it is a stallion. The Light Queen prizes one of her *mares above the rest.
Each leader has a beast that they might employ as an advisor or servant. For the Light Queen, it is her leo avainis that she calls upon to serve as her *guardian and trusted counselor. The Dark Lord employs a *Mercenary, who does much of his dirty work (not that he wouldn’t be perfectally willing to do it himself.)
Both sides have an army, referred to as *Warriors. Each band of warrios has a leader, called the *General.
(Creatures of neither side live outside of the boundaries of either, though they generally regard the Kingdom as the authority of law.)
THE DARK LORD- The Dark Lord can be anyone, but is always a Male humanoid creature with increased magical abilities. Must be at least noticeably evil. There are two Dark Lords currently, one for each Dark territory.
THE LIGHT QUEEN- The Light Queen is always female, and preferably a witch or fairy. There are currently two Light Queens, one for each Light territory. While she is generally kind, the Light Queen may also be clever, strong, and virtually anything besides evil.
THE DARK LORD's PRIZED STALLION- Always equine, preferably winged. The Dark Lord does not own unicorns, or any horse of a light color. The most preferable steed is a thestral. The Dark Lord’s Prized Stallion transports the Dark Lord primarily, though he may ride other creatures as well. He is always equine, and always a stallion.
THE PRIZED MARE OF THE LIGHT QUEEN- Usually a Pegasus. Never a thestral, and rarely a horse of a dark color. The Prized Mare of the Light Queen is always female. She is the only creature allowed to carry the queen upon her back. Even the guardian himself may not do this.
GUARDIAN OF THE LIGHT QUEEN- This creature is always a Leo Avainis (a made-up species), which is specifically bred for the purpose. He spends his entire life at her side, his only purpose is to serve, protect, and defend her. *see Glacier's joining post for a complete description*
MERCENARY OF THE DARK LORD- The Dark Lord’s Mercenary can be any species, preferably not humanoid. It must be ruthless, murderous, and willing to do virtually any dark deed he might request. This creature is usually feared by most, and respected by virtually all.
WARRIORS- These are selected by their respective Lord/Queen, and are used as their primary fighting and defense forces. They are usually left to their own hierachy devices, and must train and practice. Members of rival sides' armies are usually always poised for battle, and will defend their leader and their side with ruthless vigor.
GENERAL- The General may be any species except humaniod, and is generally selected either by the Lord/Queen, or by the warriors as the strongest, and most tactful. He/She is in charge of trianing the warriors, and is called upon in times of extreme distress as a trusted fighter.
